The Essentials
The Essentials are highly-rated pieces that are extremely wearable and therefore have resonated with consumers. Over time, the success of the individual pieces garnered them a spot to be a part of this JB permanent collection that will always be on the site. Individually, the jewelry is from different launches, so up until now, the customer had experienced the necklaces, rings, bracelets, and earrings through different models, lighting, and art direction – creating a very disconnected experience.
My role as Art Director was to plan and assist in executing the on-figure and off-figure photoshoots for the JENNY BIRD Essentials collection. This involved casting the model, determining hair and makeup, and pulling the clothing for the shoot. In addition, I strategized a new ECOM approach for the website.
This shoot was an opportunity to reintroduce the customer to the pieces they have come to love over the years in a consistent and fresh point of view that is a visual representation of the brand.
